"A conception of a modern aviation engine, twelve cylinders disposed in a "V" shape, with an opening of 60º. Cylinders in wrought carbon steel, with autogenically adjusted and welded chambers. Aluminium heads smelted in one block for each six cylinders, linked by screws, with two chambers and a device for water circulation, which acted at the same time as guides for valves and as carter, in fluted aluminium, made up of: upper part, serving as a base for cylinders, as a support for the handle trees and as a guide for the distribution gears. Middle part, serving as a support for the handle tree, for the oil pumps and for the water circulation pump. Lower part, meant to collect the circulating oil and to inspect handles. Hind-lower central part, the role of which is to maintain the magnet controls, those of the gasoline pumps and of the four carburettors of each engine".
